NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), a Government of India Company under the Department of Space, released Advertisement No. NSIL/2025/01 dated 06.11.2025 inviting applications for various Fixed Tenure Contract (FTC) positions through a Walk-In Selection process. The recruitment aims to engage dynamic and result-oriented professionals for project-based roles across different locations in India.

Positions Available

Educational Qualifications

Project Scientist

• Doctoral Degree in Agriculture/Environmental/Geospatial Science OR Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoinformatics, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• First Class in both Graduation and Post-Graduation is mandatory.
• 1 year of experience in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geospatial Data Analysis in Agriculture.

Project Engineer

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Aerospace.
• 1 year experience in Test & Evaluation/QA of Avionic or Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems.
• Operational knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, etc.

Project Assistant

• Diploma in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical.
• 1 year experience in relevant QA/Test & Evaluation roles.
• Ability to handle basic electronic equipment.

Reservation and Relaxations

• SC/ST: 5 years age relaxation
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• PwBD: 10/13/15 years as applicable
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
• J&K domicile (1980–1989): 5 years
• Maximum possible age after all relaxations cannot exceed 55 years.

Important Dates

Application Process

1. Candidates must pre-register using the official QR code before the deadline.
2. Only pre-registered candidates will be allowed for Walk-In Selection.
3. Applicants must bring a fully completed application form and all required documents.
4. Screening will be based on the information provided; incorrect details will lead to disqualification.
5. Candidates may need to stay an additional day for the selection process.
6. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the Walk-In Selection.

• Filled application form
• Two passport-size photographs
• SSLC/Matriculation certificate (DOB proof)
• PUC/12th/Diploma mark sheets
• Degree certificates and mark sheets
• Caste/Disability/EWS certificates (as applicable)
• Valid OBC-NCL certificate (issued in FY 2024-25)
• Experience certificates from all employers
• Current employment proof (Offer letter, ID card, recent payslip)
• NOC from Government/PSU employees
• Application fee receipt (if applicable)
• Government-issued identity proof
• Write-up on roles and responsibilities
• Translated copies for documents not in Hindi/English

Application Fee

• Fee Amount: ₹250
• Payment Mode: Demand Draft in favour of NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), payable at Bangalore.
• Exempted Categories: SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen.
• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

5. Final selection based on interview merit

• Positions are temporary and project-specific only.
• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
• All eligibility criteria must be satisfied as of the cut-off date.
• Incorrect/false information may lead to cancellation of candidature.

• No change in Date of Birth or Category will be entertained after submission.
• Character and antecedent verification will be conducted.
• NSIL reserves the right to modify/cancel the recruitment process.
• Applicants may be deployed to other projects based on requirements.
• Candidates previously dismissed/terminated for misconduct are not eligible.
