उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले के गोपेश्वर में राज्य स्तरीय वॉलीबॉल चयन प्रतियोगिता चल रही है जिसमें 12 से 16 वर्ष के खिलाड़ियों का फिटनेस और स्किल टेस्ट लिया जा रहा है। चयनित खिलाड़ियों को राज्य के एकमात्र आवासीय वॉलीबॉल छात्रावास में प्रशिक्षण और सुविधाएं दी जाएंगी और खिलाड़ी इस मौके को लेकर उत्साहित हैं।

अहमदाबाद में एयर इंडिया फ्लाइट एआई171 हादसे की जांच तेज हो गई है। जांच की कमान एयरक्राफ्ट एक्सीडेंट इन्वेस्टिगेशन ब्यूरो ने संभाली है। हादसे के 28 घंटे के भीतर ब्लैक बॉक्स बरामद कर लिया गया है। जांच में अमेरिका और ब्रिटेन की एजेंसियों का भी सहयोग लिया जा रहा है ताकि हादसे के कारणों की गहराई से जांच की जा सके।
