Eligibility Criteria

Associate Professor in Geriatrics

• Officers under the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories Administration holding analogous posts.
• The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Assistant Professor in Geriatrics

• A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Post-graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty from a National Medical Commission (NMC) recognized medical college or institution.
• At least three years of experience in the concerned specialty as a lecturer or equivalent teaching post after obtaining the post-graduate degree.
• Knowledge of Konkani.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Scientific Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology or equivalent with five years of experience in the relevant field; OR
• Master’s Degree in Science in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology or equivalent with three years of experience in the relevant field.
• Knowledge of Konkani.
• Desirable: Experience in Waste Management, knowledge of GIS / Remote Sensing, and knowledge of Marathi.

Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar

• Degree in Law of a recognized University in India or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of Konkani.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Application Process

1. Applications must be submitted online through the Goa Public Service Commission portal or the Government of Goa portal.
2. Candidates must carefully read the instructions available on the Commission’s website before filling out the application form.
3. Candidates are required to provide a valid email address and mobile number in the application form. All communications will be sent through these details.
4. Only after successful payment of the application fee can candidates download their application form.

Application Fees and Payment Details

• Application fees must be paid either online or offline as per the instructions.
• Online Mode: Make online payment and download the e-receipt showing successful status.
• Offline Mode: Generate an e-challan and make cash payment at any SBI branch situated in Goa only. The bank-stamped challan must be produced at the Commission’s office on or before the last date.
• The validity of the e-challan is seven days from the date of generation.
• Applications where the fee is paid after the last date will be summarily rejected and no refund will be provided.

Selection Process

• The prescribed educational qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview.
• Where the number of applications received is large, the Commission will shortlist candidates for interview as per the instructions.
• Final selection will be based on the interview and suitability as determined by the Goa Public Service Commission.
