Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications (Essential)

Higher Secondary School Certificate with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Diploma in Education
OR Higher Secondary School Certificate with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations
OR Higher Secondary School Certificate with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Passing of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) recognized by Government of Goa
Knowledge of Konkani is mandatory
Knowledge of Marathi is required for Marathi Medium posts

Desirable Qualifications

Two years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with six months Bridge Course in Elementary Education (PDPET)
Minimum two years teaching experience in recognized Primary Schools

Age Limit

Maximum age limit is 45 years as on the last date of application.

SC / ST: 5 years relaxation
OBC: 3 years relaxation
PwD: 10 years relaxation
PwD (SC/ST): 15 years relaxation

Selection Process

Computer Based Test (CBT – I) for screening and shortlisting
Computer Based Test (CBT – II)
Class Demonstration carrying 10 marks
Final selection based on Combined Score of CBT-II and Class Demonstration

There is no negative marking in CBT. Passing the Konkani Language test is mandatory for merit consideration. Tie-breaking will be done based on date of birth, with older candidates given preference.
