उत्तराखंड में मौसम ठंडा हो गया है। बदरीनाथ, केदारनाथ और हेमकुंड साहिब में एक फीट तक बर्फ जम चुकी है, जबकि गंगोत्री और यमुनोत्री में सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी दर्ज की गई है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, अगले दो से तीन दिनों तक राज्य के पहाड़ी इलाकों में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश और तापमान में और गिरावट की संभावना है।

The weather in state has turned colder. Badrinath, Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib have received up to one foot of snow, while Gangotri and Yamunotri have witnessed the season’s first snowfall. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall and a further drop in temperature are likely in the state’s hilly areas over the next 2 to 3 days.

बारिश का मौसम थमने के साथ ही चारधाम यात्रा ने दोबारा रफ्तार पकड़ ली है। बद्रीनाथ धाम में अब तक 14 लाख 5 हजार से ज्यादा और हेमकुंड साहिब में 2 लाख 65 हजार से अधिक श्रद्धालु दर्शन कर चुके हैं। वहीं, यात्रा के अंतिम चरण में श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या और बढ़ने की संभावना जताई जा रही है।

उत्तराखंड में पर्यटन और चारधाम यात्रा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए जल्द ही केदारनाथ धाम और गोविंद घाट-हेमकुंड साहिब रोपवे का निर्माण शुरू होगा। पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने बताया कि इससे श्रद्धालुओं को बड़ी सुविधा मिलेगी और राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूती मिलेगी। इसके लिए रोपवे निर्माण का एमओयू पहले ही साइन हो चुका है।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की उपस्थिति में सचिवालय में राज्य सरकार और एनएचएलएमएल के बीच समझौता हुआ। इस समझौते के तहत केदारनाथ और हेमकुंट साहिब में रोपवे का निर्माण किया जाएगा। पर्वतमाला परियोजना के अंतर्गत सोनप्रयाग-केदारनाथ (12.9 किमी) और गोविंदघाट-हेमकुंट साहिब (12.4 किमी) रोपवे परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी गई है।

In the presence of CM Dhami, an agreement was signed between the State Government and the NHLML. Under this agreement, ropeways will be constructed at Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib.
