हेमकुंड साहिब जा रहे निहंग सिखों का जत्था ज्योर्तिमठ में एक स्थानीय व्यापारी से मामूली विवाद के बाद बेकाबू हो गया, जिसके बाद निहंगों ने तलवारें लहराईं और हंगामा मचाया। फौरन कार्रवाई करते हुए, पुलिस ने निहंगों को गिरफ्तार कर उनके खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। इस दौरान हुई झड़प में एक पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गया।

A group of Nihang Sikhs on their way to Hemkund Sahib became unruly in Jyotirmath after a minor dispute with a local shopkeeper, following which they brandished swords and created a ruckus. The police arrested the Nihangs and filed a case against them. During the clash, one police officer was injured.
