मुख्य सचिव डॉ0 एस. एस. संधु ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में प्रदेश के सभी स्थानीय निकायों में ठोस कूड़ा प्रबन्धन के सम्बन्ध में बैठक ली। इस दौरान उन्होंने अधिकारियों को ठोस कूड़ा प्रबंधन के लिए कार्य योजना तैयार किए जाने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश के सभी स्थानीय निकायों से 100 प्रतिशत सेग्रीगेशन ऐट सोर्स लागू किया जाए। मुख्य सचिव ने सभी स्थानीय निकायों में कूड़ा उठाने वाले वाहनों की संख्या की जानकारी माँगी।

Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. Sandhu held a meeting in the Secretariat yesterday regarding solid waste management in all the local bodies of the state. During this, he instructed the officials to prepare an action plan for solid waste management. He said that 100 percent segregation at source should be implemented in all the local bodies of the state. The CS sought information about the number of garbage collection vehicles in all local bodies.

‘ड्रग्स फ्री देवभूमि मिशन 2025’ को सफल बनाने के क्रम में हरिद्वार पुलिस टीम ने मोटर साइकिल से स्मैक की तस्करी कर रहे 02 अभियुक्तों को 200 ग्राम स्मैक के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। करीब 20 लाख रुपये बाजार कीमत की 200 ग्राम स्मैक को फूटकर में बेचने के लिए जा रहे दोनों अभियुक्त, जिन्हें हिरासत में लिया गया।

In order to make the 'Drugs Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025' successful, the Haridwar Police team arrested 02 accused who were smuggling smack on a motorcycle with 200 grams of smack. Both the accused, who were going to sell 200 grams of smack worth about Rs 20 lakh in bulk, were taken into custody.

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu reached Bhu-Baikuntha Dham yesterday and had the darshan of Lord Badri Vishal and wished for the happiness, and prosperity of the country. On arrival at Badrinath Dham, the President was received by Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) and CM Dhami. The CM presented a replica of Badrinath temple made on Bhojpatra, Aarti, and a basket of local products to the President in the temple premises.

सार्वजनिक स्थान में जुआ खेल रहे 04 जुआरियों को पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस टीम ने चैकिंग/छापेमारी के दौरान हार-जीत की बाजी लगाकर जुआ खेलते हुए गिरफ्तार किया। जुए के फड़ से 01 ताश की गड्डी व 44800रु0 नगद बरामद किये गए। अभियुक्तगणों के विरूद्ध धारा-13 सार्वजनिक जुआ अधिनिमय के अन्तर्गत अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया।

During checking/raiding, the Pithoragarh Police team arrested 04 gamblers who were gambling in a public place and gambling by betting on winning or losing. One deck of cards and Rs 44800 in cash were recovered from the gambling den. A case was registered against the accused under Section 13 of the Public Gambling Act.

जानकारी के अनुसार पिथौरागढ़ के सिकड़ानी गांव के योगेश्वर श्रीकृष्ण मंदिर कमेटी के अध्यक्ष पीतांबर अवस्थी ने नई परंपरा स्थापित करते हुए दो महिलाओं को पुजारी की जिम्मेदारी दी है। सनातन परंपराओं को महिलाएं जीवंत बनाए हुए हैं फिर भी उन्हें पुजारी की जिम्मेदारी नहीं दी जाती है। इसीलिए कमेटी ने इस मंदिर में महिला पुजारियों की नियुक्ति की है। माना जा रहा है कि कमेटी का यह निर्णय दूसरों के लिए एक मील का पत्थर साबित होगा। धार्मिक क्षेत्र की रूढ़ियों के चलते बराबरी का दर्जा नहीं मिल पाया।

According to the information, Pitambar Awasthi, President of Yogeshwar Shri Krishna Temple Committee of Sikradani village of Pithoragarh, has established a new tradition and given the responsibility of priest to two women. Women are keeping the Sanatan traditions alive, yet they are not given the responsibility of priests. That is why the committee has appointed women priests in this temple. It is believed that this decision of the committee will prove to be a milestone for others. Due to the stereotypes in the religious field, equal status could not be achieved.

राष्ट्रपति श्रीमती द्रौपदी मुर्मु तीन दिवसीय उत्तराखण्ड भ्रमण पर मंगलवार को देहरादून पहुंची। राष्ट्रपति ने राजभवन में राज्य के विशेष रूप से कमजोर जनजातीय समूहों (पीवीटीजी) से संवाद किया। अपने संबोधन में राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि जनजातियों के लिए केन्द्र सरकार एवं राज्य सरकार द्वारा जो भी योजनाएं चलाई जा रही हैं उसका अधिकाधिक लाभ लें जिससे उनका आर्थिक विकास हो सके। उन्होंने कहा कि समुदाय इसके लिए स्वयं जागरूक रहें और स्वयं भी आगे बढ़ने के प्रयास करें।

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu reached Dehradun on Tuesday on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand. The President interacted with the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) of the state at the Raj Bhavan. In her address, the President said that they should take maximum benefit of whatever schemes are being run by the Central Government and State Government for the tribes so that they can get economic development. She said that the community itself should be aware of this and try to move forward.
