मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ0 बी.वी.आर.सी पुरुषोत्तम ने सचिवालय में नोडल अधिकारियों के साथ निर्वाचन संबंधी तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान उन्होंने आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव में वोट प्रतिशत को बढ़ाने के लिए वोटर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम पर विशेष ध्यान देने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने कहा कि मतदान जागरूकता के लिए स्वीप गतिविधियों के साथ ही प्रिंट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और सोशल मीडिया का सहयोग लिया जाए।

Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam reviewed the election-related preparations with the nodal officers in the Secretariat. पुलिस अधीक्षक चम्पावत द्वारा बनबसा क्षेत्र के स्कूली छात्र छात्राओं के मध्य 34वें सडक जागरूकता माह के अवसर पर थाना बनबसा प्रांगण मे सडक सुरक्षा को बढावा देने के लिए यातायात के नियमो के सम्बंध में पेन्टिंग, निबन्ध व स्लोगन प्रतियोगिता करायी गयी जिनमे से सभी स्कूलो के प्रथम तीन छात्र-छात्राओ को चयनित कर उन्हें पुरूस्कृत किया गया।

देहरादून में आगामी 16 फरवरी को क्षेत्रीय सेवायोजन कार्यालय में रोजगार मेला लगने जा रहा है। इस मेले में युवाओं को अपनी योग्यता के आधार पर रोजगार मिलेगा। रोजगार मेले के लिए प्री रजिस्ट्रेशन प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी गई है। रोजगार मेले में प्रतिभाग करने वाले इच्छुक उम्मीदवार को अपने साथ अपना बायोडाटा मूल प्रमाण पत्र, उनकी छायाप्रति, पंजीयन कार्ड, पासपोर्ट फोटो एवं आईडी प्रूफ अनिवार्य रूप से लाना होगा।

देहरादून में लग रहा है रोजगार मेला

An employment fair is going to be organized at the Regional Employment Office in Dehradun on 16th February. In this fair, youth will get employment based on their qualifications. The pre-registration process for the job fair has been started. Candidates willing to participate in the employment fair will have to compulsorily bring their biodata, original certificate, photocopy, registration card, passport photo, and ID proof with them.

उत्तराखंड में यूसीसी (यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड) के विरोध को देखते हुए नैनीताल पुलिस अलर्ट मोड पर है। पुलिस ने विरोध करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्ती बरतने का निर्णय लिया है। जिले में पुलिस को अलर्ट मोड पर रखा गया है। हल्द्वानी में भी समुदाय विशेष वाले क्षेत्रों में भारी संख्या में पुलिस फोर्स तैनात की गई है ताकि किसी भी तरीके की अप्रिय घटना ना हो सके।

प्रमुख वन संरक्षक वन्य जीव ने पौड़ी के आदमखोर गुलदार को मारने के आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। बता दें गुलदार पौड़ी जिले के ग्राम ग्वाड़ और ग्लास हाउस श्रीनगर में पिछले दौड़ इन में दो बच्चों को अपना निवाला बना चुका है। प्रमुख वन संरक्षक वन्य डाॅ0 समीर सिन्हा ने प्रभागीय वनाधिकार को दिए आदेश में कहा कि गुलदार को पिंजरा लगाकर अथवा ट्रैक्युलाईज कर जल्द से जल्द पकड़ा जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि गुलदार संपूर्ण प्रयासों के बाद भी न पकड़ा जाए तो जन सुरक्षा को देखते हुए चिन्हित गुलदार को अंतिम विकल्प के रूप में मारने के आदेश दे दिए हैं।

Chief Forest Conservator Wildlife has issued orders to kill the man-eater leopard of Pauri. Let us tell you that leopard has made two children his prey in the last race in village Gwad and Glass House Srinagar in Pauri district. Chief Forest Conservator Forest Dr. Sameer Sinha said in the order given to the Divisional Forest Officer that the leopard should be caught as soon as possible by placing a cage or tranquilizing it. He said that if the leopard is not caught even after all efforts, then given public safety, orders have been given to kill the identified leopard as a last option.

ईडी ने बुधवार को कांग्रेस नेता और पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री हरक सिंह रावत के ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की। बता दें प्रवर्तन निदेशालय की ये कार्रवाई दिल्ली समेत 16 जगहों पर जारी है। बता दें ईडी की यह कार्रवाई दो अलग-अलग मामलों में हो रही है। एक मामला फॉरेस्ट लैंड से जुड़ा है तो दूसरा एक अन्य जमीन घोटाले से जुड़ा बताया जा रहा है। जानकारी के लिए बता दें पिछले साल अगस्त में भी विजिलेंस विभाग ने कांग्रेस नेता हरक सिंह रावत के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की थी।
