Forest department gave orders to kill man-eating leopard
Chief Forest Conservator Wildlife has issued orders to kill the man-eater leopard of Pauri. Let us tell you that leopard has made two children his prey in the last race in village Gwad and Glass House Srinagar in Pauri district. Chief Forest Conservator Forest Dr. Sameer Sinha said in the order given to the Divisional Forest Officer that the leopard should be caught as soon as possible by placing a cage or tranquilizing it. He said that if the leopard is not caught even after all efforts, then given public safety, orders have been given to kill the identified leopard as a last option.
