उत्तराखंड में यूसीसी (यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड) के विरोध को देखते हुए नैनीताल पुलिस अलर्ट मोड पर है। पुलिस ने विरोध करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्ती बरतने का निर्णय लिया है। जिले में पुलिस को अलर्ट मोड पर रखा गया है। हल्द्वानी में भी समुदाय विशेष वाले क्षेत्रों में भारी संख्या में पुलिस फोर्स तैनात की गई है ताकि किसी भी तरीके की अप्रिय घटना ना हो सके।

Police have been put on alert mode in the district. In Haldwani also, a large number of police forces have been deployed in community-specific areas so that no untoward incident occurs.
