The institute is engaged in wildlife research, training programs, academic courses, and advisory services related to biodiversity and conservation across India.

Job Details & Designations

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences / Wildlife Science / Zoology / Ecology / Biodiversity / Forestry / Environmental Sciences / Life Sciences / Agricultural Sciences.
• Doctoral Degree required for Project Scientist posts.
• Experience required for higher positions (2–4 years or more depending on role).
• Desirable: Field experience, wildlife research, ecological surveys, GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), R programming, scientific writing.

Job Responsibilities

• Field surveys and ecological data collection in remote areas.
• Camera trap deployment and wildlife monitoring.
• Data analysis and scientific report writing.
• Coordination with Forest Departments and stakeholders.
• Community awareness and conservation programs.
• Scientific research and publication preparation.

5. Separate applications must be submitted for multiple posts.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on qualification, marks, experience, and publications.
• Final selection through Online Interview.
• Top candidates (approx. 10 per post) will be shortlisted.
• Original documents verification at joining.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years
• As per Government of India rules.

General Terms & Conditions

• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Application fee is non-refundable.
• Maximum two posts can be applied for.
• Separate application required for each post.
• NOC required for currently employed candidates or PhD scholars.
• Positions are purely temporary and project-based.
• Selection decision of the institute will be final.
• Candidates must join immediately after selection.
