Educational Qualification & Experience

Joint General Manager (RG/02/26)

  • Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience in Tunnel Construction supervision and management.
  • Private sector candidates must have minimum Annual CTC of 28.46 LPA.

DGM (Transport Economist) – RG/03/26

  • Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Planning.
  • Master’s Degree in Economics / Statistics / Management (Finance) / Transport Engineering / Transport Planning / Transport Economics / Traffic Engineering.
  • Minimum 11 years’ experience in Traffic & Transport studies including mobility plans, mass transit studies, transport economics and financial analysis.
  • Private sector candidates must have minimum Annual CTC of 23.71 LPA.

Manager (Transport Economist) – RG/04/26

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Civil/Architecture/Planning) and Master’s Degree in relevant Transport/Economics disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in consultancy assignments related to transport studies.
  • Private sector candidates must have minimum Annual CTC of 16.01 LPA.
Internship, academic, fellowship, teaching, and PhD research experience shall not be counted as valid experience.
UR/EWS candidates must have minimum 60% marks (First Class). SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD candidates must have minimum 50% marks.

Application Fees

Selection Process

For RG/02/26 & RG/03/26

  • Document Scrutiny
  • Interview (100% weightage)
  • Minimum 60% (UR/EWS) and 50% (Reserved) required in interview.

For RG/04/26

  • Written Test (125 objective questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking).
  • Minimum 50% (UR/EWS) and 45% (Reserved) required in written test.
  • Interview (Weightage: Written Test 60%, Interview 40%).
PwBD candidates are eligible for additional compensatory time of 50 minutes in written test.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC-NCL: 3 Years
  • PwBD: 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service years + 3 Years
  • J&K Domicile: 5 Years
  • RITES Employees: 5 Years
