Eligibility Criteria

Havildar (Security)

• Educational Qualification: SSLC (Pass) / High School Pass.
• Minimum 15 years of service experience in Indian Army/Navy/Air Force.
• Preference for Infantry, Artillery and Armoured Corps.
• Service Record: Exemplary or Very Good.
• Medical Category: AYE / Shape-I or equivalent.
• Mandatory Registration at District Sainik Welfare Board.
• Fire training desirable.
• Valid driving license for Light & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (desirable).
• Ability to read, write and speak Hindi/English; computer literacy desirable.

Driver

• Educational Qualification: SSLC (Pass).
• Minimum 15 years of driving experience in Indian Army/Navy/Air Force.
• Valid Driving License for Light & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (Mandatory).
• Fire training preferable.
• Service Record: Exemplary or Very Good.
• Medical Category: AYE / Shape-I or equivalent.
• Driver Trade candidates will be preferred.
• Mandatory Registration at District Sainik Welfare Board.

Age Limit (As on 01 March 2026)

Selection Process

• Havildar (Security): Physical Endurance Test followed by Written Test.
• Driver: Physical Endurance Test / Driving Test followed by Written Test.
• All tests will be conducted at Delhi/NCR only.
• Selection process may be altered or modified depending on the number of applications received.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/OBC – 35%, SC – 30%.

Application Process

1. Download application format from www.bel-india.in.
2. Fill the application form completely and correctly.
3. Send the application via Speed Post / Registered Post only.
4. Superscribe the envelope with: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HAVILDAR (SECURITY)/DRIVER FOR GHAZIABAD UNIT”.
5. Separate application form must be submitted for each post.
6. Applications must reach on or before 15 March 2026.

Documents Required

• Recent passport-size photograph and signature.
• SSLC Marks Card.
• Discharge Certificate issued by Indian Army/Navy/Air Force with trade, medical category, discharge date and service record.
• Caste Certificate (if applicable).
• OBC-NCL certificate dated on or after 01 March 2025 (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (if employed in Govt/PSU).
• Proof of Registration at District Sainik Welfare Board.
• Driving Experience Certificate (for Driver post).

Travel Allowance

Outstation SC/ST candidates called for Physical Endurance Test/Written Test will be reimbursed Sleeper Class fare for shortest route upon submission of original tickets and caste certificate copy. Reimbursement will be made through ECS at a later date.

Local travel expenses shall be borne by the candidates.
