Tenure and Salary Details

• Tenure: Up to 31 March 2026, extendable based on project requirement and performance
• Monthly Emoluments: ₹67,000 per month + HRA (as applicable)
• Allowances: No DA, transport facility, residential telephone, or personal staff will be provided

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications – Option 1

• Master’s Degree in Geology / Hydrogeology / Earth Science
  OR Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Agricultural Engineering
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in R&D in industrial or academic institutions or S&T organizations
• Out of the total experience, at least 4 years must be in science & technology programme planning, development, and cooperation

Essential Qualifications – Option 2

• Doctoral Degree in Geology / Earth Science
  OR Master’s Degree in Water Resource Engineering / Civil Engineering / Agricultural Engineering / Hydrology
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in R&D in industrial or academic institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities

Desirable Experience

• Bathymetric survey
• Geophysical survey
• Pumping tests
• Water isotope and environmental tracer sampling
• Data analysis and interpretation

Age Limit and Relaxation

• Maximum Age: 50 years as on the date of interview
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST / OBC / Women / Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India rules
• Additional relaxation may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates based on Selection Committee recommendation

Reservation Details

Reservation and age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD).

• No written examination will be conducted
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
• No TA/DA will be paid for joining on contractual basis
• TA/DA will be admissible only for official travel within India after joining
