Salary / Emoluments

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month + 10% HRA

Eligibility Criteria

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Postgraduate degree in Architecture, Conservation, Landscape, or Spatial Information Technology related fields
  • Must qualify through:
    • CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE
    • OR National-level examinations conducted by central government agencies

Project Associate-I

  • Postgraduate degree in relevant fields OR
  • B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Planning from a recognized university
  • Knowledge and experience in software applications and development is desirable

Project Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology
  • Experience in fieldwork in mountain environments, drone surveys, or CyARK training is desirable

Job Description

The project focuses on developing an intelligent disaster management system for mountain communities in India. It aims to integrate knowledge databases, real-time monitoring sensors, spatial information systems, and AI/ML-based tools for disaster prediction, early warning, and efficient response.

The work includes extensive fieldwork in Uttarakhand villages, coordination with local communities, disaster management agencies, and development of software interfaces for data collection and analysis.

  • JRF will handle research work and scientific publications
