Designation and Disciplines

Eligibility Criteria

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 65% (UR/EWS/OBC) and 55% (SC/ST/PwBD).
• Final-year students eligible if they secure required marks before interview.
• Valid GATE-2025 score is mandatory.
• Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical: Electrical / Power / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Chemical: Chemical Engineering / M.Tech in Applied Chemistry

Age Limit

Upper age limit is 30 years as on 22/01/2026.

• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
• PwBD (UR): 10 years, PwBD (OBC): 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Selection Process

• Selection based on GATE-2025 score (90%) and Personal Interview (10%).
• Shortlisting in 1:10 ratio discipline-wise and category-wise.
• Only candidates with valid GATE-2025 marks in respective papers (ME, EE, CH) eligible.

Salary & Compensation

• Training period: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000 (Basic Pay ₹40,000)
• Post-training absorption as Assistant Manager (E1 Grade): ₹60,000 – 3% – ₹1,80,000
• Additional benefits: DA, PRP, medical, accommodation, and superannuation as per company rules.

3. Pay fee through SBI Collect selecting “Odisha → PSU → NATIONAL ALUMINIUM COMPANY LTD”.
4. Upload photo, signature, GATE-2025 admit card, score card, and SBI payment proof.
5. Submit and take printout of application for reference.
6. Only one application per discipline allowed.

Reservation & Relaxations

As per Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen. Candidates must produce valid certificates in prescribed format at the time of interview.

Service Agreement Bond

• ₹3,00,000 bond for India training / ₹4,00,000 for training abroad.
• Service commitment: minimum 4 years post training.

Medical Fitness

All selected candidates must be medically fit as per NALCO standards. Examination to be conducted at NALCO hospital or empaneled centers.
