Job Responsibilities

The Customer Service Officer plays a key field-level role in customer acquisition, portfolio growth, recovery, and compliance. Major responsibilities include:

  • Identify new business locations and conduct village surveys.
  • Source and onboard eligible customers as per NABFINS process.
  • Meet monthly disbursement and collection targets.
  • Ensure customer presence on scheduled disbursement dates.
  • Collect loan installments and deposit funds on the same day.
  • Update CMS entries for applications, disbursements, and collections.
  • Follow up with overdue or default customers.
  • Minimize dormancy in the loan portfolio.
  • Assist branch management in administrative tasks.
  • Participate in training and ensure customer awareness of NABFINS processes.
  • Submit daily MIS and escalate deviations to BH/CSE/RM/HO.
  • Ensure documentation quality and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide mentoring to junior staff and follow best practices.
  • Conduct regular field visits and maintain transparency with JLGs.
