Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Program Assistant (General)

• Essential Qualification: Second Class Graduate with at least six months of training on the use of computer for office automation, book keeping and word processing from a certified institution, OR Second Class Graduate with Diploma in Computer recognized by AICTE.
• Skill Test: Computer Typing Test of qualifying nature only. Typing speed requirement is 30 words per minute for English OR 25 words per minute for Hindi.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience.

Ward Sahayak / Hospital Attendant

• Essential Qualification: High School (10th Pass).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as Stretcher Bearer or Ward Sahayak in a reputed hospital.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience of working in Geriatric Medicine Unit.

Safaikarmi / Sanitary Attendant

• Essential Qualification: Class 8th Pass.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience of working in Geriatric Medicine Unit.

Age Limit

• Program Assistant (General): Maximum 35 years (Relaxation as per Government norms).
• Ward Sahayak / Hospital Attendant: Maximum 35 years (Relaxation as per Government norms).
• Safaikarmi / Sanitary Attendant: Maximum 30 years (Relaxation as per Government norms).
• Age limit may be relaxed in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Nodal Officer, whose decision will be final.

Application Process

1. Application must be submitted in the prescribed proforma.
2. The application should be typed on A4 size paper.
3. Application may be submitted in English or Hindi language.
4. Self-attested copies of all relevant documents must be attached.
5. A valid email ID and a working mobile number must be clearly mentioned.
6. Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
7. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.

Selection Process

• Selection may involve a written examination and/or skill test as applicable.
• Computer Typing Test for Program Assistant is of qualifying nature only.
• Final selection will be based on eligibility, experience, performance, and the decision of the Selection Committee / Nodal Officer.

Reservation and Other Conditions

• Reservation will be applicable as per Banaras Hindu University norms.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in old age health care (Geriatrics) or related fields.
• Degrees and qualifications must be obtained from recognized institutions or universities.
• Qualifications may be relaxed in exceptional situations by the Selection Committee / Nodal Officer.
• Services of the selected candidates may be terminated if work or behavior is found unsatisfactory.
• The Nodal Officer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or invite applications as per the requirement of the scheme.
