Eligibility Criteria

Education Assistant A

• Must have completed 12th Standard (HSC) in Science stream.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Good aptitude for hands-on activities and experimental skills.
• Passion for investigative or innovative projects, model making, design activities, and experimentation.
• Mentality to work with school children and students.

Nature of Work

1. Design and conduct educational programmes, including demonstrations and lectures inside and outside the museum.
2. Design and development of teaching aids in consultation with the Curator and CEO.
3. Preparation of project reports at regular intervals.
4. Visitor research, publicity, public relations, outreach programmes including sky observations, mobile science exhibitions, and other activities as directed.

Technician (Electrical) A

• SSC or Matriculation qualification.
• ITI certificate or equivalent in Electrical trade.
• Minimum 1 year experience after completing a 2-year ITI course.
• For 1-year ITI certificate holders, 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Qualification criteria may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional experience.
• Passion for investigative or innovative projects and model making.
• Mentality to work with school children and students.

Nature of Work

1. Operation, repair, fabrication, handling, packing, installation, and maintenance of exhibits and equipment.
2. Design and development of exhibits and other activities as directed by the Curator and CEO.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 40 years for Open Category.
• Upper Age Limit: 45 years for Reserved Category.

Selection Process

• Written Test (if applicable).
• Interview.
• Selection Committee reserves the right to select highly qualified candidates.
• Possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee interview or selection.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test, interview, or joining the post.
