Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification and experience requirements relevant to thin film electronics.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Ph.D. (Engineering Stream)
  • OR M.Tech with 3 years of relevant experience
  • OR B.Tech with 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Qualification and Expertise

  • Experience after Ph.D. in thin film related areas
  • Hands-on experience with thin film deposition techniques such as PVD, CVD, ALD, and coating processes
  • Experience with electrical and optical characterization techniques including I-V, C-V, ellipsometry, microscopy, profilometry, AFM, and SEM
  • Experience working in Class 10000 and better cleanroom environments
  • Familiarity with electro-optical properties of thin film encapsulations for electronic devices such as photovoltaics and OLEDs

Nature of Work and Responsibilities

  • Development of thin film encapsulation for electronic devices on glass and polymer substrates
  • Supporting installation and maintenance of thin film deposition equipment such as CVD and PVD systems
  • Designing experiments for process development
  • Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing quality standards
  • Preparation of technical presentations and reports
