Project Information

• Project Title: Understanding the role of the Type II MLA system in OMV biogenesis towards developing an effective vaccine against Campylobacter jejuni in poultry

Employment Type & Duration

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration. The initial appointment will be for 1 year, which may be extended up to a maximum of 3 years based on performance and availability of funds.

Work Assignment

• Assisting with documentation of project-related purchases
• Maintaining accurate records
• Animal procurement and animal maintenance
• Feeding, cleaning, and sampling of experimental animals (chicken, mice, etc.)
• Cleaning of animal house

Salary

₹18,000/- plus 27% HRA per month (as per rule)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline

Desirable Criteria:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a biology laboratory
• Experience in handling experimental animals (chicken, mice, etc.)
• Knowledge of basic computing (MS Office-related)

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Relaxation: Age relaxation for reserved and other categories will be as per Government of India rules.
