Position Details

Essential and Desirable Qualifications

• Essential Qualification: A Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent, with an excellent academic record from a recognized university.
• Desirable Qualifications / Experience:
  1. Professional qualification in the area of Finance & Accounts (MBA Finance, CA, or ICWA preferred).
  2. Knowledge of Government finance and accounts rules including GFR, Fund Rules, and Audit protocols.
  3. Experience in procurement and tender processes, preparing RFPs, EOIs, annual budget estimates, monitoring expenditures, and variance analysis.
  4. Experience in managing cash and banking operations, including handling foreign exchange transactions.
  5. Experience in payroll processing, timely salary payments, and statutory deductions.
  6. Knowledge of CPPP, GEM, PFMS, and Government rules applicable to educational institutes.
  7. Prior experience in preparation of Annual Accounts and Balance Sheet.
  8. Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, financial software, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data manipulation, and reporting.

Eligibility Criteria and Citizenship

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The cut-off date for eligibility, qualifications, and age shall be the date of the Walk-in-Interview (7 November 2025).

1. Eligible candidates are advised to submit an advance application through the Google Form: https://forms.gle/pQnD8p9hFFLDashw5 along with their CV (Resume), and self-attested photocopies of certificates and testimonials in a single merged PDF on or before 6 November 2025 (Thursday).
2. Candidates must bring a hard copy of the application form along with original documents and self-attested photocopies on the day of the Walk-in-Interview.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Original mark sheets, certificates, degrees, and NOCs must be produced during the interview. Any fake or forged document will lead to disqualification or termination.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on Walk-in-Interview and document verification.
• The decision of the Director, IIIT Bhopal, in all matters related to recruitment will be final and binding.
• Mere fulfillment of eligibility and appearance in the interview does not guarantee selection.

General Instructions

• Applications will be accepted in the prescribed format only.
• Candidates must verify eligibility regarding age, qualifications, and experience before applying. The institute will not be responsible for discrepancies.
• The institute reserves the right to accept or reject any candidature at any stage, cancel or modify the recruitment process without notice.
• The engagement will be initially for 11 months and may be extended up to three years based on performance and institute requirements.
• Selected candidates will earn one day of leave per completed month of service. Unavailed leave may be carried forward; no leave encashment is allowed.
• Income Tax or applicable deductions will be made at source as per government rules.
• Selected candidates must not publish or disclose any official data without written permission.
• Engagement may be terminated by the office with one month’s notice. If the candidate resigns, one month’s notice must be given.
• In case of inadvertent error, the institute reserves the right to cancel or modify the appointment.
• Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
• No electronic devices (mobiles, laptops, Bluetooth devices, etc.) are allowed inside the interview venue.
• Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of courts/tribunals in Bhopal only.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected. Candidates must not leave any column blank in the application form.
• The schedule of the Walk-in-Interview may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
