Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Zoology with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates must have cleared NET (National Eligibility Test) or hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009/2016/2018).
• Reserved category candidates are eligible for relaxation as per MP Government rules.
• Allied Subjects considered: Fisheries, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, Limnology, Entomology, Biotechnology, Bioscience, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Life Science, Genetic Engineering.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01.01.2026)
• Age Relaxation: As per state government norms for SC/ST/OBC, women, and PwBD candidates.
