Important Dates

Salary, Emoluments & Allowances

• Emoluments will be calculated by deducting the basic pension amount from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.
• Transport Allowance: Fixed amount as applicable at the time of retirement or ₹3,600 per month, whichever is less.
• No other allowances of any kind shall be admissible.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University or Statutory State Board / Council / Faculty of Indian Medicine under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
• Enrollment on Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine is mandatory.

Service Eligibility

• Candidate must be a retired Medical Officer from Central Government or State Government.
• Retirement must be under the Old Pension Scheme only.

Age Limit

Reservation Details

• Reservation will be followed as per Government of India rules.
• Applicable categories: SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD.
• Candidates must submit original reservation certificates in the prescribed Government of India format.
• PwBD candidates must submit certificate issued by a competent medical board.

Application Fees

Selection Process

1. Selection will be made purely on the basis of performance in the interview.
2. If the number of candidates exceeds the ratio of 1:10 per post, a screening test consisting of multiple-choice questions may be conducted.
3. Screening test marks will not be considered for final selection.
4. Final result will be communicated through email and displayed on the ESIC website.

Application Process

1. Eligible candidates must appear in person for Walk-in Interview at ESIC Hospital, Rudrapur.
2. Candidates must bring duly filled application form (Annexure-B).
3. Original documents and self-attested photocopies must be produced at the time of document verification.
4. Only candidates whose documents are verified successfully will be allowed to attend the interview.
5. Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be allowed to participate.

General Terms & Conditions

• Engagement is purely contractual for one year.
• Contract may be extended up to the age of 70 years or till appointment of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
• Either side can terminate the contract by giving seven days’ notice.
• Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited during contractual period.
• Attendance must be marked manually and through Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS).
• No entitlement to PF, Pension, Gratuity, Promotion, Seniority or Medical Benefits.
• Selected candidate must execute contractual agreement on ₹100 stamp paper.
• Selected candidates must join within 15 days from the date of offer.
• Police Verification Certificate is mandatory at the time of joining.
