Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed High School and ITI from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute in the relevant trade.
• Eligible Years of Passing: 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
• Candidates who have already undergone Apprenticeship Training earlier or are pursuing a regular course are not eligible.
• Private candidates (as private ITI individuals) are not eligible to apply.

Trade Wise Educational Qualification

Age Limit (as on 14.10.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years for General category, 30 years for OBC, and 32 years for SC/ST.
• Additional 10 years age relaxation for PwD candidates.
• Dependents of BHEL employees will get relaxation as per company rules.

Reservation Details

• Reservation as per Uttarakhand Government Apprenticeship Act norms: SC/ST/OBC ratio 1:3:6.
• Reservation applicable for PwD, EWS, and dependents of BHEL employees.
• EWS Certificate must be valid for the financial year 2025–26.
• OBC Certificate must be valid and not expired as of 14.10.2025.

Medical Fitness

Candidates must be medically fit and have to produce a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a competent medical officer before appointment.

Selection Process

1. Number of trade vacancies will be uploaded on Apprenticeship Portal.
2. Candidates must apply online through the Apprenticeship India portal.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email for written examination (Hindi/English medium).
4. If eligible applicants are equal to or fewer than vacancies, selection may be made directly without examination.
