Remuneration & Allowances

Component Details
Monthly Remuneration ₹25,000 per month (maximum) OR Last Pay & Allowances – Initial Pension (pre-commutation) + relief, whichever is lower (applicable to pension-opted retired bank officials).
Other Monthly Support ₹1,000 per month (lump sum) towards mobile, conveyance, etc.
TA/DA (as required by the post) ₹300 per day plus actual travel expenses. (No separate diem/reimbursement where a vehicle is provided.)
Other Benefits No other benefits/charges beyond what is stated in the notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Age (as on 15.09.2025)

  • Above 45 years and below 65 years; candidate should be in sound health.

Educational Qualification & Computer Skills (Essential)

  • Graduate in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University.
  • Computer literate with basic proficiency in MS Office, Internet, and typing in the local language.

Experience & Preferred Profiles

  • Preferred: Retired/VRS-opted bank officials of Scale-I and above from Nationalized Banks/SBI/RRBs.
  • Ex-Servicemen/other non-bank employees (e.g., Government school teachers) with banking knowledge and relevant IIBF certification may also be considered.
  • Desirable: Background in rural development (e.g., Agriculture Finance Officer, RDO, LDMs, training faculty, etc.).
  • Experience: Unblemished service record with minimum 10 years’ experience as an officer/permanent employee; Service Certificate from previous employer required.
  • Language: Excellent communication in the local language is essential.
  • Residence: Should be a resident of the same state, preferably the same or nearby district (e.g., Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria).

Duties & Job Profile

  • Work as Counselor, FLCC and oversee the overall functioning of the Financial Literacy Counseling Centre.

Leave Entitlement

  • 15 days per year, with a maximum of 2 days per month.

Other Terms & Notes

  • No Right to Interview: Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not confer the right to be called for interview.
  • Concurrent Employment: Not permitted during the contract period.
