Application Process

Applications shall be accepted only through SPEED POST/REGISTERED POST. Applicants must use the prescribed format and enclose self-attested copies of all required documents in a sealed envelope. The envelope must be superscribed with Advertisement Number and Post Applied For.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Qualified Food Analyst by FSSAI as per Rule 2.1.4(1) of Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011.

Desirable: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Notified Food Analyst in a Government Organisation / Laboratory / Research Institute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the laboratory analytical activities of the PPP partner.
• Analysis of food samples.
• Handling of High-End Equipment.
• Verification of results of Food Analysis as per FSSRs, 2011.
• Verification of prepackaged food samples label as per FSSRs, 2020.
• Sample handling and acknowledgement in FICS and INFOLNET portals.
• Willingness to stay nearby (within 5 KM) and work in flexible hours, including holidays.
• Any other work provided by the Director/Head of Institution.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 45 Years

Reservation and Relaxation

Preference shall be given to local applicants and those having prior experience in the same or similar department. SC/ST, PwD candidates are exempted from application fee. Other reservations will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
