Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) from AICTE/UGC approved institute.
Disciplines accepted: Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics.
Candidates should have at least Pass Class in their degree.
Industrial experience only considered; teaching, research, internships not counted.
Candidates must submit valid degree and marksheets with percentage conversion proof if applicable.

Age Limit (as on 01.12.2025)

Trainee Engineer-I: Maximum 28 years
Project Engineer-I: Maximum 32 years
OBC: Relaxation up to 3 years
ST: Relaxation up to 5 years
PwBD (≥40% disability): Additional 10 years relaxation

Selection Process

Trainee Engineer-I: Written Test (100 Marks, ¼ negative marking)
Project Engineer-I: Written Test + Interview (1:5 shortlisting ratio)
Minimum qualifying marks: 35% (General/OBC/EWS) and 30% (SC/ST/PwBD)
Results and final lists will be published on BEL official website.
