कांवली रोड निवासी शेख शरीफ द्वारा 19 मार्च को घरों के ताले टूटे होने व अंदर से 6.5 लाख नगदी व सोने-चाँदी के आभूषण चोरी होने के सम्बन्ध में पुलिस द्वारा अभियोग पंजीकृत कर घटना में संलिप्त 02 चोरों साजिद व चाहत को ₹15 लाख के आभूषण व ₹ 3.85 लाख नगदी के साथ सरस्वती सोनी मार्ग से गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता प्राप्त की।

On March 19, a resident of Kanwali Road, Shaikh Sharif, in connection with the breaking of the locks of the houses and the theft of 6.5 lakh cash and gold and silver jewelry from inside, the police registered charges and 02 thieves Sajid and Chahat, involved in the incident, got jewelry worth ₹ 15 lahks. सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में उत्तराखण्ड सचिवालय बैडमिंटन क्लब की स्मारिका ‘प्रयास’ का विमोचन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि सचिवालय बैडमिंटन क्लब द्वारा बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन के साथ क्लब की गतिविधियों पर आधारित स्मारिका का प्रकाशन किया जाना सराहनीय है। सीएम ने कहा कि स्मारिका बेहतर कल के लिये खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रेरणा का भी कार्य करेगी।

सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में राज्य में प्रस्तावित खेल विश्वविद्यालय के संबंध में बैठक लेते हुए निर्देश दिये कि खेल विश्वविद्यालय के लिए अवस्थापना सुविधाओं के विकास के साथ ही खेल व आवश्यक शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों हेतु इस क्षेत्र के विशेषज्ञों के सुझाव लिए जाएं। सीएम ने कहा कि विशेषज्ञों के सुझाव के आधार पर खेल विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना के सबंध में अग्रिम आवश्यक कार्यवाही की जाए।
