यमुना घाटी से पशुचिकित्सकों की टीम द्वारा पशु चिकित्सालय रायमेर एवं धौंतरी (विकासखंड डुंडा, उत्तरकाशी) के अंतर्गत दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में पांच जुलाई से नौ जुलाई तक पशु चिकित्सा शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें लंपी त्वचा रोग से बचाव हेतु टीकाकरण किया गया एवं पशुओं का उपचार कर औषधि वितरित की गई। उक्त शिविर से लगभग 85 पशुपालक लाभान्वित हुए।

दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में पशु चिकित्सा शिविरों का किया गया आयोजन

Veterinary camps were organized from July 5 to July 9 in remote areas by a team of veterinarians from Yamuna Valley under Animal Hospital Raimer and Dhauntri (development block Dunda, Uttarkashi), in which vaccination was done to prevent lumpy skin disease and animals were treated. Medicines were distributed after treatment. About 85 cattle rearers were benefited from the said camp.

While taking action against illegal raw liquor, Barkot Police arrested a person of Nepali origin, Mohan S/o Hiru, resident of Bada Village, Police Station Salyan, District Salyan Nepal, Hall Niwas, Phoolchatti Police Station, Barkot District, Uttarkashi, with 10 liters of illegal raw liquor from Phoolchatti.

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat participated in the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony of residential buildings of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University, Dehradun. On this occasion, he duly laid the foundation stone of the Vice Chancellor's residence and other residential buildings to be built at a cost of (499.28 lakh) in the university campus. He said that the aim of the state government is to improve the health facilities in Uttarakhand, in which the university is also playing its leading role.

CM Dhami welcomed the kanwariyas who had come from different states to Devbhoomi in a program organized at Ganga Ghat in Haridwar by washing their feet and offering them Ganga water as a mark of respect. He also gave the message of environmental protection and clean Kanwar Yatra by planting saplings. CM Dhami said that Haridwar is the center of reverence for the whole country. This holy place has special blessings of Mother Ganga and Lord Bholenath.
