An agreement has been signed between Uttarakhand and Slovenia for cooperation in the field of management of protected areas and environmental education. An MoU between Valley of Flowers National Park of Uttarakhand and Triglav National Park of Slovenia has been signed in Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana. CM Dhami has described the signing of the MoU between Uttarakhand and Slovenia as an effort to give recognition to the state's biodiversity at the world level.

पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा ग्राम तुरगोली के पास घाटीगाड़ को जाने वाले रास्ते पर वाहन पिकप को रोककर चैक किया जिसमें वाहन चालक बॉबी कुमार निवासी तेजम, पिथौरागढ़ तथा दूसरा व्यक्ति पूरन सिंह चुफाल निवासी ग्राम हुपली, पिथौरागढ़ द्वारा 27 पेटी अवैध अंग्रेजी शराब व 10 पेटी बीयर परिवहन कर ले जाया जा रहा था। पूरन सिंह चुफाल अंघेरे का फायदा उठाकर फरार हो गया तथा बॉबी कुमार को गिरफ्तार किया गया।

Pithoragarh Police stopped and checked a vehicle pickup on the way to Ghatigarh near village Turgoli, in which the driver Bobby Kumar, resident of Tejam, Pithoragarh, and the other person Puran Singh Chufal, resident of village Hupli, Pithoragarh, transported 27 boxes of illegal English liquor and 10 boxes of beer. The tax was being taken away. Puran Singh Chuphal escaped taking advantage of the darkness and Bobby Kumar was arrested.

मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ0 बी.वी.आर.सी पुरुषोत्तम ने सचिवालय में निर्वाचन के दौरान प्रदेश में लॉ एंड ऑर्डर, पुलिस बल एवं केंद्रीय सुरक्षा बलों की तैनाती के संबंध में उच्च स्तरीय बैठक ली। मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने संबंधित विभागों को निर्देश दिए कि निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया शुरू होने से पूर्व सभी तैयारियां करने तथा जनपदवार पुलिस बल की अतिरिक्त तैनाती एवं केंद्रीय पुलिस बल की तैनाती के संबंध में विस्तृत होमवर्क कर लिया जाए।

Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam held a high-level meeting in the Secretariat regarding the law and order, and deployment of police forces and central security forces in the state during the elections. The Chief Electoral Officer directed the concerned departments to make all the preparations before the start of the election process and do detailed homework regarding additional deployment of the district-wise police force and deployment of the central police force.

पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा वाहन चैकिंग के दौरान शराब पीकर वाहन चलाने मे वाहन चालक लाल चन्द निवासी सिंघाली नाग तहसील डीडीहाट पिथौरागढ़ को गिरफ्तार कर वाहन सीज किया गया।  इसके अतिरिक्त जनपद पुलिस द्वारा अपने-अपने थाना क्षेत्रान्तर्गत चैकिंग के दौरान, यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले 108 लोगों के विरुद्ध एम0वी0 एक्ट के तहत कार्यवाही की गई।

During vehicle checking by Pithoragarh Police, the driver Lal Chand, resident of Singhali Nag Tehsil Didihat Pithoragarh was arrested for drunken driving and the vehicle was seized. Apart from this, during checking in their respective police station areas by the district police, action was taken under the MV Act against 108 people who violated traffic rules.

सीएम धामी ने विगत 31 जनवरी को सहस्त्रधारा रोड स्थित आईटी पार्क के समीप उत्तराखण्ड भवन एवं अन्य सन्निर्माण कल्याण बोर्ड श्रम विभाग में पंजीकृत श्रमिकों को कम्बल वितरण कर ‘कम्बल वितरण अभियान’ की शुरुआत की थी। सीएम ने निर्देश दिए हैं कि 3 लाख से अधिक पंजीकृत श्रमिकों को कंबल वितरण किया जाए। इसी क्रम में सभी जिलों में कैंपों के माध्यम से श्रमिकों को लगभग 25,000 कंबल, छाता तथा 15,000 सैनेट्री नैपकिन वितरित किया गया।

On January 31, CM Dhami started the 'Blanket Distribution Campaign' by distributing blankets to the workers registered in the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Welfare Board Labor Department near the IT Park located on Sahastradhara Road. CM has directed that blankets should be distributed to more than 3 lakh registered workers. In this sequence, about 25,000 blankets, umbrellas, and 15,000 sanitary napkins were distributed to the workers through camps in all the districts.
