पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा वाहन चैकिंग के दौरान शराब पीकर वाहन चलाने मे वाहन चालक लाल चन्द निवासी सिंघाली नाग तहसील डीडीहाट पिथौरागढ़ को गिरफ्तार कर वाहन सीज किया गया।  इसके अतिरिक्त जनपद पुलिस द्वारा अपने-अपने थाना क्षेत्रान्तर्गत चैकिंग के दौरान, यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले 108 लोगों के विरुद्ध एम0वी0 एक्ट के तहत कार्यवाही की गई।

During vehicle checking by Pithoragarh Police, the driver Lal Chand, resident of Singhali Nag Tehsil Didihat Pithoragarh was arrested for drunken driving and the vehicle was seized. Apart from this, during checking in their respective police station areas by the district police, action was taken under the MV Act against 108 people who violated traffic rules.
