उत्तराखण्ड व स्लोवेनिया के मध्य संरक्षित क्षेत्रों के प्रबंधन एवं पर्यावरण शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सहयोग हेतु एक समझौता हुआ है। उत्तराखण्ड के फूलों की घाटी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान व स्लोवेनिया के त्रिग्लाव राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के मध्य सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर स्लोवेनिया की राजधानी लुबलियाना में हुआ है। सीएम धामी ने उत्तराखण्ड एवं स्लोवेनिया के मध्य हुए सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर को राज्य की जैव विविधता को विश्व स्तर पर पहचान दिलाने वाला प्रयास बताया है।

An agreement has been signed between Uttarakhand and Slovenia for cooperation in the field of management of protected areas and environmental education. An MoU between Valley of Flowers National Park of Uttarakhand and Triglav National Park of Slovenia has been signed in Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana. CM Dhami has described the signing of the MoU between Uttarakhand and Slovenia as an effort to give recognition to the state's biodiversity at the world level.
