आज भी उत्तराखंड में भारी बारिश का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। भारी बारिश की चेतावनी के चलते आज प्रदेश के आठ जिलों में स्कूल बंद रहेंगे। कुमाऊं मंडल में आज भी भारी से भारी बारिश की संभावना है। मौसम विभाग ने लोगों से खुले स्थान पर रहने व जाने से बचने की अपील की है।

वाराणसी से देहरादून आने वाली जनता एक्स्प्रेस 23 जुलाई से चार अगस्त तक रद्द रहेगी। जबकि देहरादून से वाराणसी जाने वाली जनता एक्सप्रेस 24 जुलाई से पांच अगस्त तक निरस्त की गई है। इसके अलावा हावड़ा से आने वाली उपासना एक्सप्रेस दो अगस्त को लखनऊ तक ही आएगी और तीन अगस्त को वहीं से वापस लौटेगी।

भारी बारिश का कहर पहाड़ों से लेकर मैदान तक देखने को मिल रहा है। हल्द्वानी में भारी बारिश के कारण नाले उफान पर हैं। रकसिया नाले के उफान पर आने के कारण 55 घरों में पानी घुस गया है। इसके साथ ही पूरे हल्द्वानी में 150 घरों में पानी भर गया है। जिस कारण अब तक लोगों को 50 लाख रुपए से भी ज्यादा का मुकसान उठाना पड़ा है।
