• Salary Range: ₹56,100 – ₹1,44,300/-
• Pre-revised Pay Band: PB 4B ₹15,600–42,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,400 (WBS ROPA 2009)

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor degree in Naturopathy and Yogic Science from a UGC recognized University, OR
• Diploma in Naturopathy (Osmania University), OR
• M.P.T. / B.A.M.S with Post Graduate Degree in Panchakarma from a recognized University
• Ability to speak and write in Bengali.

Desirable Qualifications

• Original published book or paper in a recognized National or International journal.
• Post Graduate Degree in concerned field from a UGC-recognized University.

Language Assessment: Knowledge of Bengali (spoken and written) will be evaluated through dictation during the interview. Candidates failing in the dictation test will not be evaluated further.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Not more than 40 years as on 01 January 2025.
• Relaxation for higher qualification or longer experience: 1 year.
• Relaxation for Government employees in substantive post: 2 years.
• Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST): 5 years relaxation.
• Other Backward Classes (OBC Category-A and B): 3 years relaxation.
• Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 5 years relaxation; maximum age up to 45 years.

Note: Candidates who do not require age relaxation must not fill the “Age relaxation” field in the online form.

Application Fees

• Application Fee: ₹210/- (Rupees Two Hundred Ten only).
• Payment Mode: Online through GRIPS (Government Receipt Portal System).
• Payment by Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, or Cash is not accepted.
• Exemption: SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities (under Disabilities Rule, 1999) are exempted from fee payment.
• OBC candidates are not exempted.
• No refund or reservation of fee for future examinations will be allowed.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted through direct selection by the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board. The Board may also hold a Written Examination or Computer Based Test (CBT) for shortlisting candidates or for preparation of the final merit list. In such cases, the marks distribution pattern may be modified accordingly.

Reservation and Relaxation Details

Total vacancy: 1 (UR). Reserved category candidates may apply under UR category and can avail relaxation benefits as per rules.

All SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificates must be issued by competent authorities of West Bengal. Persons with Disabilities (40% and above) must have valid certificates from an authorized Medical Board as per the West Bengal Persons with Disabilities Rules, 1999.

Age relaxation for physically handicapped persons belonging to OBC category shall be allowed either as a handicapped person or as an OBC candidate, whichever is more beneficial.

Application Process and Document Upload

Only online applications are accepted through the official website. No other mode of submission is allowed. Candidates must ensure that all documents are clear and readable. Scanned copies of original documents should be uploaded as a single PDF or image file (max 2 MB).

• Recent passport-size colour photograph with single colour background.
• Full running signature in blue/black ballpoint pen on white sheet (no initials).
• Valid government ID for address proof (Aadhaar/Voter/Driving License/Passport).
• Candidates can edit and resubmit applications within the edit window period.
• Applications received after the deadline will be automatically rejected.

Note: Incomplete or defective applications, multiple submissions, or false information will lead to rejection or cancellation of candidature even after appointment.
