Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (UPMSCL), headquartered in Lucknow, is a Government of Uttar Pradesh Undertaking, established under the Companies Act 2013 with a seed capital of Rs. 20 Crores. UPMSCL serves as the nodal organization for centralized procurement and distribution of drugs, consumables, and medical equipment across various Government Health Facilities in Uttar Pradesh. The organization is headed by an IAS officer and aims to ensure the availability of high-quality drugs and medical equipment at the lowest possible cost to public healthcare facilities.

UPMSCL Vision and Objectives

  • Ensuring coverage of all essential drugs under Rate Contract.
  • Facilitating supplier selection, contract negotiation, and business allocation.
  • Establishing and executing centralized procurement systems for drugs, consumables, and medical equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

  • Full-time degree in Electrical / Electronics / Bio-Medical Engineering from a UGC-recognized Indian University.

Desirable Qualification

  • Post Graduate degree or diploma in Business Management from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

Post-Qualification Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement of medical equipment for public agencies.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

Reservation Details

  • Vacancies will be governed by the State Reservation Policy of Uttar Pradesh.

Selection Process

The selection process includes a Personal Interview. A preliminary evaluation will be conducted only if more than 10 eligible candidates apply.

Preliminary Evaluation Criteria (Total 20 Marks)

  • Highest percentage in Essential Qualification – 5 Marks
  • Possession of Desirable Qualification – 5 Marks
  • Relevant Working Experience – 10 Marks
