Salary Structure & Pay Scale

The pay scale for the post of Staff Assistant is ₹ 24,050 – 64,480 (20 stages) with 11 stagnation increments of ₹ 2,680 each every two years after reaching the maximum scale.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 October 2025)

For Open Market Candidates

  • Must be a local candidate of the State of Telangana as per Presidential Order 1975.
  • Must hold a Graduate degree from a recognized University.
  • Should have studied Telugu as one of the subjects in any class up to 10th Class (document proof required at appointment).
  • Knowledge of English language is essential.

For In-Service Candidates of PACS Affiliated to DCCB

  • Minimum qualification: Intermediate plus JDC or Graduation from a recognized University (as on 01.10.2025).
  • Age relaxation up to 45 years (applicable relaxations subject to overall maximum 50 years).
  • Must have completed minimum five years of continuous service in PACS affiliated to Karimnagar DCCB as of 01.10.2025.
  • Proof of service must be certified by the DCO/CEO of the DCCB concerned.

Reservation and Disability Guidelines

Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) is provided under Section 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The post of Staff Assistant is identified suitable for candidates under the following categories of disability as per Government of India / Government of Telangana norms.

Categories of Disability Eligible

  • OH (Orthopedically Handicapped): Includes OA (One Arm), OL (One Leg), OAL (One Arm & One Leg), BL (Both Legs). Candidates must have normal bilateral hand functions.
  • VI (Visual Impairment): Includes total blindness or low vision with visual acuity less than 3/60 or limitation of visual field < 10 degrees.
  • HI (Hearing Impairment): Deaf (≥ 70 dB loss) or Hard of Hearing (60–70 dB loss in both ears).
  • ID (Intellectual Disability): Includes Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability (SLD), Mental Illness (MI), and Multiple Disabilities.

Candidates claiming disability must present a valid certificate issued by a competent medical authority as per Government of India / Telangana guidelines. Only those having ≥ 40 % benchmark disability are eligible for reservation.

Definition of Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

  • Annual family income below ₹ 8 lakh from all sources (salary, agriculture, business, profession etc.).
  • Family must not own ≥ 5 acres of agricultural land, 1,000 sq ft flat, 100 sq yd plot (in municipality) or 200 sq yd plot (outside municipality).
  • EWS status to be proved by Income & Asset Certificate issued by District Magistrate / Tahsildar / Sub-Divisional Officer.
  • “Family” includes the candidate, parents, siblings < 18 yrs, spouse and children < 18 yrs.

EWS vacancies are tentative and subject to Government of India directives / litigation outcomes.

Educational Qualification (as on 01 October 2025)

  • Any Graduate from a recognized University.
  • Must have studied Telugu up to Class 10 and possess proficiency in Telugu.
  • Knowledge of English language is mandatory.

For PACS Employees

  • Intermediate + JDC or Graduation (as on 01.10.2025).
  • Minimum 5 years continuous service in PACS affiliated to Karimnagar DCCB.
  • Service Register duly certified by DCO/CEO of DCCB must be submitted as proof.

  • Penalty for wrong answers: 0.25 mark deducted for each incorrect response.
  • Exam language: English only.
  • Candidates must qualify in each section and overall aggregate as decided by the Bank.

Candidates must apply online from 18 October 2025 to 06 November 2025 through the Bank’s website. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Steps for Online Application

  1. Visit the official website and click on “Apply Online”.
  2. Register with your name, email, and mobile number to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  3. Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per prescribed format.
  4. Fill the application form carefully and verify all details before final submission.
  5. Pay the application fee online through Debit / Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS or Mobile Wallet.
  6. Save and print the e-Receipt and final submitted application form for future reference.
Handwritten Declaration Text (English only)

“I, ________ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Applications with signature in capital letters or declaration in another language will be rejected. Visually Impaired candidates may type the declaration and affix thumb impression.

Document Upload Specifications

  • Photograph: Recent colour passport-size photo (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm) with light background.
  • Signature: Black-ink signature on white paper, scanned in JPG format (10 KB–20 KB).
  • Left Thumb Impression: On white paper with blue or black ink, scanned (20 KB–50 KB).
  • Handwritten Declaration: In candidate’s handwriting (English only), scanned (50 KB–100 KB).

All uploaded files must be clearly visible and within prescribed size limits; unclear or invalid uploads will lead to rejection.

Verification of Credentials and Certificates

  • Candidates must produce all original certificates (educational, nativity, caste, age, disability, service proof for PACS employees, etc.) at the time of appointment.
  • Copies of certificates uploaded during application should match originals. Any discrepancy will result in cancellation of candidature.
  • Caste certificate should be in the format prescribed by the Government of Telangana.
  • Physically Challenged candidates must produce certificate from District Medical Board specifying category and percentage of disability (≥ 40 %).

Identity Verification at Examination Centre

  • Candidates must carry their Call Letter along with a valid Photo ID proof in original and photocopy.
  • Valid Photo IDs include – PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook with photo.
  • Ration Card and Learner’s Licence are not accepted as valid ID proofs.
  • Name on ID proof must match the name entered in application form; discrepancies may result in disqualification.
  • Candidate must appear in person; impersonation or substitution is strictly prohibited.

Candidates can download their Online Examination Call Letters from the Bank’s official website prior to the exam date.

  • Use Registration Number and Password / Date of Birth for login.
  • Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent via SMS / Email.
  • No hard copy of call letter will be sent by post.
