Contract Termination: The contract can be terminated at any time with two months’ notice from either side or by paying/surrendering two months’ compensation in lieu.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum educational qualification and post-qualification experience are mandatory for all posts.
  • Teaching or training experience will not be considered for eligibility.
  • Experience of less than six months in any organization will not be counted.
  • Candidates must upload all valid documents such as degree, mark-sheets, experience certificate, and ID proof.
Educational & Experience Requirements (Highlights)
  • Head (Product, Investment & Research): Graduate/Postgraduate with CA/CFP/CFA preferred; 15 years’ experience including 8 years in Wealth Management.
  • Zonal Head (Retail): Graduate (MBA preferred); 15 years’ experience with 5 years leadership in Wealth/Retail Banking or AMCs.
  • Regional Head: Graduate (MBA preferred); 12+ years’ experience with 5+ years team leadership experience.
  • Relationship Manager – Team Lead: Graduate (MBA preferred); 8 years’ experience, team lead experience preferred.
  • Investment Specialist: PG/Professional degree in Finance/Commerce; 6 years’ experience as advisor/officer in Wealth Mgmt or AMCs.
  • Investment Officer: PG/Professional degree in Finance/Commerce; 4 years’ experience as advisor/officer in Wealth Mgmt or AMCs.
  • Project Development Manager (Business): MBA/PGDM; 5 years’ experience in Banking/Wealth Management/Broking firms.
  • Central Research Team (Support): Graduate (PG preferred); 3 years’ experience in Research, MIS, or Financial Services Support.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 25 years (varies by post)
  • Maximum Age: 50 years
  • Age Relaxation: As per Government of India guidelines for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and EWS categories.

Reservation Details

  • Reservations applicable for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwBD categories (VI, HI, LD, D&E).
  • PwBD reservation is horizontal and as per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
  • OBC (NCL) certificate must be issued between 01.04.2025 and the date of interview.
  • EWS certificate must be valid for FY 2024–25 and in the prescribed DoPT format.

  • SC / ST / PwBD: No Fee

Application Process

  1. Candidates must apply online through the SBI Careers portal only.
  2. Upload documents including photograph, signature, resume, ID proof, certificates, and experience details.
  3. All documents should be in PDF format (≤500 KB). Photograph and signature must be in JPG/JPEG format (≤50 KB / ≤20 KB).
  4. Pay the application fee online using Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
  5. Take a printout of the e-receipt and final submitted application form for record.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting: Based on qualification, experience, and suitability as determined by the shortlisting committee.
  • Interview: 100 marks; may be conducted in person, telephonically, or via video conferencing.
  • CTC Negotiation: Conducted individually during or after the interview process.
  • Merit List: Prepared on the basis of interview marks only. In case of a tie, older candidates will rank higher.

Employment Terms

  • Type: Contractual Employment (5 years, renewable at Bank’s discretion)
  • Leave: 30 days per financial year
  • Notice Period: Two months from either side or equivalent compensation in lieu.

Other Important Information

  • Candidates earlier offered SBI Wealth Management posts but not joined will be debarred from applying for 2 years.
  • Candidates who resigned from previous SBI contract roles will be debarred for 2 years from resignation.
  • Bank reserves the right to transfer officers anywhere in India or to its subsidiaries/associates.
  • In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid application will be considered.
  • All legal proceedings related to this recruitment will fall under Mumbai jurisdiction only.
  • Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed travel fare as per eligibility in the call letter.
