Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Power Management / Power Plant Engineering / Renewable Energy & Grid Interface Technologies or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years post-qualification experience in the power sector covering Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Power Trading, Procurement, Scheduling, or Regulatory issues.
• Minimum Marks Required:
  • UR/EWS: 60% or First Class
  • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD: 50%
• Degree Recognition: AICTE recognized university/institution, or Section A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India).

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Maximum Age: 32 years (as on 30.09.2025)
• Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC-NCL: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (additional to SC/ST/OBC relaxation)
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service years + 3 years
  • J&K Domicile: 5 years

Application Fee

Selection Process

1. Written Test: 125 objective questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking. PwBD candidates get 50 minutes extra.
   • Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 50%, SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD – 45%
2. Document Scrutiny: Verification of uploaded documents.
3. Interview:
   • Technical & Professional Proficiency – 30%
   • Personality, Communication & Competency – 10%
   • Total Interview – 40%
   • Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 60%, SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD – 50%
4. Final Merit: Written Test (60%) + Interview (40%)

• Guwahati

Note: Centers except Delhi/Gurgaon are tentative and depend on the number of candidates.
