Remuneration & Benefits

- MBBS degree in allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India
- Postgraduate degree in General Medicine may also apply
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Medical Practitioner in a hospital or clinic
- Must have own dispensary or residence within 30 km radius of the Bank’s dispensary

Terms & Conditions of Contract (Annex-I)
The BMC will be required to attend Bank’s dispensary, provide medical treatment, administer injections, perform minor surgeries, conduct emergency treatment, issue medical certificates, inspect staff quarters, and provide annual health reports. Responsibilities also include proper storage and distribution of medicines, handling medical claims, and maintaining hygienic conditions. The consultant may also be required to accompany patients to hospitals in emergencies.
The contract is valid for 3 years, terminable by 3 months’ notice or remuneration in lieu by either side. The engagement is purely contractual and temporary, and no claim for permanent employment shall be entertained.
Disputes, if any, are subject to Chandigarh court jurisdiction.
