Sports Authority of India (SAI) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), Government of India. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The organization is mandated for the development and promotion of sports in the country.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Any One of the Following)

• MBBS from a recognized University/Institution with 3 years of experience in the relevant field (post internship).
• PGDSM with 1 year of experience in the relevant field.
• PG/DNB in Sports Medicine / Orthopaedics / PMR (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) / Equivalent qualification.

Deputation Eligibility

• Officers working under Central Government / State Government / Union Territory Administrations.
• Holding analogous post in their parent cadre/department.
• OR 5 years regular service in Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500).

Age Limit

Selection Process

• Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for interview.
• Selection will be based on merit list prepared by the Selection Committee.
• The merit list will be approved by the Competent Authority.

3. Application must be submitted in duplicate.
4. Applications must reach before 25-04-2026 at 05:00 PM.

• Duly completed and signed application (Annexure-I) countersigned by Cadre/Appointing Authority.
• Attested copies of last 5 years ACRs/APARs.
• Integrity Certificate.
• Vigilance Clearance.
• No Major/Minor Penalty Certificate for last 5 years.
• Certificate verifying correctness of particulars furnished.
• Cadre Clearance Certificate.

Reservation Details

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories must indicate their category in the application form. No specific category-wise breakup of posts is mentioned in the notification.

• Deputation terms and conditions shall be governed as per DoPT OM dated 06/08/2009 (Estt Pay-II dated 17/06/2010) as amended from time to time.
• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years.
• In case of any dispute, the English version of the notification shall be treated as valid.
• Curriculum Vitae duly supported by documents will be assessed by the Selection Committee at the time of selection.
