Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.

Internship Condition

  • Internship must be completed after 01.02.2024 and before 20.02.2026.
  • Candidates furnishing internship certificate prior to 01.02.2024 will be treated as cancelled.

Registration Requirement

  • Valid DMC (Delhi Medical Council) registration certificate is mandatory.
  • DMC acknowledgment will be accepted for interview.
  • Selected candidates must produce valid DMC certificate at the time of joining.

Maximum age limit shall be 40 years irrespective of category as per Government of NCT of Delhi circular provisions.

Reservation Details

  • OBC certificate must mention Non-Creamy Layer status for the current financial year.
  • Reservation applicable as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.

Application Fees

Selection Process

  • Selection will be based strictly on Interview only.
  • Selection will be made strictly on merit basis.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
  • Selected candidates must join immediately, failing which the offer shall stand automatically cancelled.
  • Decision of Chairman and selection board shall be final and binding.
  • Hospital reserves the right to cancel advertisement, decrease/increase number of posts, or reject applications without assigning reasons.

Terms and Conditions of Contractual Appointment

  • Junior Residents are entitled to 2½ days leave per complete calendar month.
  • No LTC, Pensionary benefits, Group Insurance, Study Leave, or Child Care Leave is admissible.
  • Maternity leave shall be granted as per Maternity Benefits (Amendment) Act, 2017.
  • Contract may be terminated by either side with 10 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
  • Selection is purely contractual and does not confer any right for regularization or permanent absorption.
  • Private practice of any kind is not allowed.
  • Selected candidates will not be given NOC for passport, visa, etc., before completing at least 06 months of service.
  • Jurisdiction of dispute shall be Delhi/New Delhi Courts only.
