Employment Type & Contract Duration

Contractual basis, initially for 2 years. The contract may be extended by 2 years after review of performance at the end of each term.

Remuneration

₹7200 per month (Maximum Capping Limit), calculated as:

  • 2 hours/day
  • 2 days/week
  • 4 weeks/month

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university
  • Postgraduates will be given preference
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in any hospital or clinic as a Physiotherapist

Working Days & Hours

  • Any 2 working days per week (as per convenience of staff and decision of appointing authority)
  • 2 hours per day

Selection Process

  • Applications will be scrutinized by the Bank
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview via email
  • Final selection will be based on interview performance
  • Engagement letter will be sent via email to the selected candidate
  • If declined, the next candidate in merit order will be offered engagement

Other Terms and Conditions

  • Substitute must be arranged by the Physiotherapist at their own cost if absent for more than two days.
  • No eligibility for leave, PF, gratuity, medical reimbursement, bonus, or other terminal benefits.
  • No claim for regular employment shall be entertained.
  • Bank reserves the right to revise remuneration and working conditions.
  • Any disputes shall be under jurisdiction of the courts at the place of Zonal Office.
  • Strict confidentiality must be maintained regarding Bank’s affairs.
  • Physiotherapist must serve honestly and promote Bank’s interest.
  • No act of sexual harassment at workplace is allowed.
  • If arrested or detained on criminal charges, contract is liable to termination.
  • Bank reserves right to raise eligibility standards for interview shortlisting.
  • Basic physiotherapy equipment must be brought by the Physiotherapist.

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Assess physical, communication, and cognitive skills of staff to develop treatment plans.
  • Advise and support family members of staff.
  • Assist staff in daily activities and exercises for pain relief.
  • Review progress and adjust treatment accordingly.
  • Perform administrative tasks like record keeping, reporting, and calls.
  • Evaluate staff’s physical and psychological conditions using varied assessment methods.
  • Assess home and work environment and make necessary adjustments.
  • Advise on and assist with usage of suitable equipment for everyday activities.
  • Develop rehabilitation programs to regain fine motor skills and lost abilities.
  • Establish goals for treatment and adapt programs as needed.
  • Administer care in accordance with law, regulation, and institutional policies.
  • Ensure continued competence and update knowledge in the field.
