Eligibility Criteria

  • All educational qualifications must have at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized institution / university.
  • Degrees must be recognized / approved by statutory bodies such as AIU, UGC or AICTE.
  • Candidates who have appeared for their final semester exams may apply but must produce the final marksheet at the time of document verification.
  • For CGPA / OGPA / CPI systems, the percentage conversion must follow the institution’s official rules. If no conversion exists, percentage = (obtained grade / maximum grade) × 100.

PwBD Reservation: 2 posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities on interlocking basis as per Government norms under categories such as Blindness/Low Vision (B/LV), Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH), Locomotor Disability (OA/OL/BA/BL etc.), and others (SLD, MI, MD involving multiple disabilities).

Age Relaxation

  • Relaxation of 5% marks and 5 percentile in selection process for SC / ST / PwBD candidates

Reservation Guidelines

  • Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / EWS must possess valid caste / category certificates in prescribed format issued by competent authority.
  • OBC certificate must be issued on or after 01-04-2025 and should confirm Non-Creamy Layer status as per Central list of NCBC.
  • EWS candidates must produce “Income & Asset Certificate” issued on or after 01-04-2025 as per DoPT guidelines.
  • Disability should not be less than 40% to claim PwBD reservation benefits.
  • Outstation SC / ST / PwBD candidates travelling more than 80 km (one way) are eligible for reimbursement of 2nd AC rail fare for appearing in Written Test / Group Discussion (if shortlisted).

Application Fee

  • Non-refundable application fee of ₹ 500 + GST for General, OBC and EWS candidates.
  • Exempted: SC / ST / PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
  • The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be reserved for any other examination or selection.
  • Application fee must be paid only through online mode at the time of submission.

Selection Process

The selection process for Management Trainee positions shall consist of the following stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Group Discussion (GD)
  3. Document Verification / Interview (if applicable)
  • Shortlisting for GD : 1 : 10 ratio based on CBT merit.
  • Shortlisting for Interview : 1 : 5 ratio based on GD performance.
  • Final selection will be made on the consolidated merit of CBT + GD + Interview scores.
  • Minimum qualifying percentile: 40 for General candidates and 35 for SC / ST / PwBD candidates.
  • Outstation SC / ST / PwBD candidates are eligible for reimbursement of 2nd AC rail fare by the shortest route if the distance travelled each way exceeds 80 km, upon producing travel proof.

Remuneration

The remuneration shall be as per the pay scale mentioned below and includes Dearness Allowance, HRA, perquisites and allowances under cafeteria approach and other benefits as applicable for the post.

Career Path

The Management Trainees will undergo on-the-job training for one year from the date of joining. Upon successful completion of training, they will be placed in the E-1 scale of pay as Assistant Manager.

Service Bond

Selected candidates shall execute a Bond of ₹ 1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees) in favour of MSTC Limited to serve the company for a minimum period of five years.

Place of Posting

Candidates may be posted in any of the offices / joint ventures of MSTC Limited across India as per company requirements. Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in India should apply.
