Eligibility (Cut-off: 01.12.2025)

Essential Qualification

Full-time Diploma (AICTE/UGC approved Institute/University) in any of the following with not less than 60% marks:

Electronics Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Experience

Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Railway Signalling Works OR OFC based communication and networking systems.

Teaching/training/consultancy/freelancing experience is not treated as relevant experience.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 01.12.2025).
Relaxation: As per Government of India guidelines (subject to eligibility).

Medical Standards

Candidates should be in sound health and free from color blindness. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.

Candidates must mention percentage wherever required without rounding off. If consolidated marksheet is not issued, final percentage is calculated as the average of all semesters/years. For CGPA: follow university conversion norms; if conversion is not provided, minimum 6 on a 10-point scale is treated as 60% (prorated for other scales).

Application typed on A4 size paper in the prescribed format (Annexure-I).
Experience certificate(s) in chronological order. For present employment, offer letter alone is not accepted; submit last two months’ salary slips of present employer as proof of experience.
Date of Birth proof: Class X passing certificate / DOB certificate.
Caste/EWS certificate / age relaxation certificate (in prescribed Government format, if applicable).
Diploma certificate and all semester/year mark sheets for percentage calculation.

Candidates must bring original certificates for age, community, educational qualifications, and experience. If originals are not produced, the interview will not be held.

Selection Process

Selection will be through walk-in interview. Only candidates found eligible as per the eligibility criteria will be interviewed.

Reservation: Vacancies are UR-02. Age relaxations as per Government of India guidelines (where applicable and subject to eligibility).

Contract Terms, Benefits & Conditions

Tenure & Key Conditions

Initial contract: 1 year (extendable based on performance and company requirement).
Co-terminus with the project; no right to regular absorption or other project posting.
If any information is found false/incorrect/not as per eligibility, candidature may be cancelled at any stage.
Ex-contract IRCON employees terminated due to project closure may apply (termination letter copy to be submitted).
Candidates working or not working as on cut-off date can apply if they possess essential qualification and experience.

Benefits / Service Conditions

Medical Coverage: Contract employees must take a self health insurance policy of ₹3,00,000 covering Covid-19 and other diseases. Premium up to ₹4,000 per annum will be reimbursed upon submission of policy copy and original premium receipt.
PF: Minimum PF as per EPF & MP Act, 1952 will be deducted; matching contribution by IRCON. Accumulation paid at cessation of contract.
Leave: One leave per calendar month; can be carried forward/accumulated, but no leave encashment during contract or on resignation/termination. No other leave admissible.
Weekly Off / Holidays: One weekly off and other public holidays when project office remains closed.
Working Hours: Same as for the project.
TA/DA: Admissible if deputed on outstation duty.
Other Perks: No other perks/benefits beyond what is stated.
