Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum CGPA 7.0/10 or 70% marks.
M.Tech degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Soil Dynamics with minimum CGPA 6.5/10 or 65% marks.
Candidate must have qualified GATE in Civil Engineering.

Additional Requirements

Candidate must have good knowledge of slope stability analysis.
Candidates having knowledge of numerical modelling will be preferred.
Good programming skills in Matlab or Python will be preferred.
Candidate must be able to perform field visits to project sites located in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical site investigations.
Perform laboratory characterization of soil and geotechnical materials.
Implement real-time slope monitoring using subsurface instrumentation.
Analyze monitoring datasets and interpret field data.
Carry out research-related tasks on slope stability and monitoring.
Prepare research reports and technical presentations within strict deadlines.
Work towards publishing research outcomes in reputed research journals.
