Research Project Details

Project Title Shark and camelid nanobodies targeting the FAT1 protein as an anti-tumour agent

The project involves advanced research work related to phage display technology and antibody isolation using phage display libraries. Candidates selected for this position will be actively engaged in experimental research work associated with the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following academic qualifications and research requirements to be considered for the Scientist project position.

  • First Class Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG courses with seven years of experience.
  • OR Second-Class Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG courses with PhD and NET/GATE qualification.
  • Candidates must have documented proof of working in the field of phage display technology.
  • Applicants should also have experience in isolation of antibodies through screening of naïve and immune phage display libraries.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following research and laboratory related activities:

  • Work in the field of phage display technology.
  • Conduct research work related to virology.
  • Handle mammalian cell culture related experimental work.
  • Plan, design and conduct laboratory experiments.
  • Support other laboratory projects where required.
