Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking, invites applications from eligible superannuated officers for engagement as Consultants on a contract basis for the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Project for Civil Aircraft and allied activities.

AME/Certificate of Recognition from DGCA-approved institute. Minimum 15 years in Civil Aviation; 5 years as Quality Manager in Civil MRO. Valid B1-Mechanical AME license for A320 family aircraft. Knowledge of CAR145, CAR66, CAR147, EASA Part-145. Experience liaising with DGCA and implementing quality systems. Preferred: SMS, HF, FTS, CDCCL certifications, training authorization.	Superannuated officers from Pay Scale ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 (IDA) post 01.01.2017 or equivalent.
Consultant – Chief Maintenance Engineer	01	Full-time degree in Engineering/Technology (Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics preferred). AME/Certificate of Recognition from DGCA-approved institute. Minimum 15 years in civil aircraft maintenance; 5 years in base maintenance of A320 family aircraft. Valid B1-Mechanical AME license for A320 family aircraft. Authority to issue CRS in previous organization. Comprehensive knowledge of CAR-145, MOE, and maintenance standards. Training in FTS, HF, SMS, CDCCL mandatory.	Superannuated officers from Pay Scale ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 (IDA) post 01.01.2017 or equivalent.
Consultant – Chief Maintenance Manager (Base-Avionics)	01	Full-time degree in Engineering/Technology (Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics preferred). AME course from DGCA-approved institute. Minimum 15 years in civil aircraft maintenance; 5 years in base maintenance of A320 family aircraft. Valid B2-Avionics AME license for A320 family aircraft. Authority to issue CRS in previous organization. Knowledge of CAR-145, MOE, and maintenance standards. Training in FTS, HF, SMS, CDCCL mandatory. Age Limit

Maximum age: 61 years as on 22.09.2025

Tenure & Remuneration

Tenure of Engagement: Initial period of 1 year (extendable).
Remuneration: Consolidated monthly amount, decided after mutual discussion as per rules.

Employment Type

Contractual engagement as Consultant. This does not confer rights of a regular employee of HAL.
