Assistant Engineer (Civil): Must have held the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) or a superior post at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD or CPSUs/PSUs.

Junior Engineer (Civil): Must have held the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) or a superior post at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD or CPSUs/PSUs.

Maximum Age: 64 years as on 15.09.2025 (last date for submission of application).
For retired employees from pensionable Government employment: Consolidated monthly remuneration as per extant Government norms. Computed by deducting pension amount from the last drawn salary.
For retired employees from non-pensionable Government or Semi-Government employment (PSUs/Autonomous bodies):
Additionally entitled to TA/DA for official tours, as per rules applicable to regular AEs/JEs.
Contract Basis for a period of one year, extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier. No extension beyond the age of 65 years.
Selection will be done through Interview only. Date and time of Interview will be intimated to shortlisted candidates later.
