Application Process

  1. Applications must be submitted online through the university website.
  2. Candidates must upload scanned PDF copies of all supporting documents related to qualifications, experience, research publications, awards, and other claims.
  3. After online submission, a hard copy of the application along with self-attested supporting documents must be sent by Registered or Speed Post.
  4. The envelope must be superscribed with: “Application for the post of <Post Name and Discipline> – Advertisement No. DBRAU/RW/2026”.
  5. Hard copy applications must reach the Office of the Registrar within 10 days from the last date of online submission.
  6. Applications that are incomplete, without required documents, photographs, or fee will be rejected.
Data entered once in the online application form will not be allowed to be changed. Candidates are advised to verify all details before final submission.

Application Fee

  • General / OBC / EWS / UR: ₹3000/-
  • SC / ST: ₹2500/-

Eligibility Criteria

The qualifications, experience, pay scales, and other service conditions for all advertised teaching positions shall be strictly in accordance with UGC Regulations 2018, AICTE Regulations 2019, PCI notifications, and the rules of the Uttar Pradesh State Government.

  • Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all essential qualifications before applying.
  • Qualifications and experience will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the online application.
  • Candidates awarded Ph.D. degrees from foreign universities must submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, unless exempted under the MHRD Foreign Scholarship Programme.

Age Limit

The age of superannuation and other service conditions shall be governed by the norms of the Uttar Pradesh State Government. No specific upper age limit for direct recruitment is mentioned in the notification.

Reservation Details

  • Reservation will be applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government norms.
  • Categories include SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and Unreserved.

  • Phase I: Written Objective Test (40 marks)
  • Phase II: Teaching Skill Assessment (20 marks)
  • Phase II: Interview (10 marks)
  • Final selection will be based on combined performance as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Associate Professor and Professor

  • Shortlisting based on Academic and Research API Score.
  • Interview conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee.
  • Minimum qualifying Research API Score: 75 for Associate Professor and 120 for Professor.

General Instructions and Important Notes

  • The University reserves the right to withdraw, modify, increase, or decrease the number of advertised posts without assigning any reason.
  • The University may choose not to fill any or all of the advertised positions.
  • False, fabricated, or incorrect documents at any stage may lead to rejection or termination of appointment.
  • Candidates already in service must submit a No Objection Certificate from their present employer before appearing in the interview.
